Classic Steak and Chips

INGREDIENTS
Sirloin Steak
Maris Piper Potatoes
Lolo Roso Lettuce
Radichio Lettuce
Curly Endive Lettuce
Cherry Tomatoes
Red Onions
Sea Salt or Rock Salt
Cracked Black Pepper
Vegetable Oil

METHOD
Season Steak with crack black Pepper and sea-salt and put aside
Peel Potatoes and cut into chips you can cut them as chunky as you like, boil for 15 minutes the drain in a colander and leave for 5 minutes
Heat Vegetable oil to 150 degrees then fry for 8 minutes but do not colour, remove from fryer and set aside then put fryer up to 190 degrees and fry chips again until brow, the chips should be golden brown on the outside and fluffy on the inside
Put a griddle or frying pan on, oil the steak and not the pan, then heat and put steak in it should sizzle when hit the pan for Rare Steak 1-2 minutes Medium 3 minutes Well done 5 minutes

Wash cut and mix leaves, slice onions then mix with cherry tomatoes to make salad

Arrange on the plate and dress salad with either Extra Virgin Olive oil or French Dressing
